A new Brazilian steakhouse, known as a churrascaria, took over the second level of Universal CityWalk’s Latin American cantina and club. The new 190-seat concept, which opened June 14, takes up about 5,000 square feet on the second level of the existing Latin Quarter in Universal Orlando Resort . Main courses are served “rodizio” style, which means servers continuously bring South American rotisserie skewers of meats directly from the grill and then slice and serve them tableside. The meats featured include filet mignon, roast beef, short ribs, lamb, pork and the house specialty picanha — top sirloin — along with a full buffet and gourmet salad bar. Prices are $36.99 for adults and $19.99 for salad bar only, while kids ages 7-12 get half off and kids 6 and under eat free.
